Adam Argyle
Adam is a multi talented writer/producer who signed to Peermusic UK in 2004.
Although only 24, Adam has been involved with the music industry since he was 16 when he signed his first publishing deal with the Nashville based Acuff Rose Publishing
In 1998 Adam toured the British Isles as the only support on the Crystal Gayle tour and was also nominated for three British Country Music awards, Adam also received recognition from his home county when he was presented with a ‘Yorkshire Young Achievers Award’. However, the highlight of 1998 was travelling to Nashville to sing on the longest running live radio show in the world, the Grand Ole Opry.
1999 started off with a European tour, this time, being the sole support act for the 50,000,000 selling country artist Reba McEntire. He also won Best Album for ‘Paint a Bigger Picture’ at the British Country Music Awards and snatched ‘Best Newcomer’ at the ‘British Country Radio Awards’.
In the summer of 2000 Adam returned to Nashville and became the only British artist ever to perform in front of the 30,000 people, at the massive Fan Fair festival.
He decided to concentrate on the standard of his compositions, and looked to broaden his style of writing. He’s worked with Martin Brammer (writer of ‘Lifted’- The Lighthouse Family) and Gary Clark (writer and producer for Natalie Imbruglia). Other collaborations include Boo Hewerdine, Jeffery Williams, Paul Bell, Gill Cang, John Themis, Charlie Door, Craig Wiseman and Steve Booker.
Has been recently collaborating with Sean Conlen (Five), Sam Newton and Sony artist David Campbell.
Adam has written the next Melanie C single “Next Best Superstar” which is also on her forthcoming album “Beautiful Intentions”, released in April 2005.
Adam continues to concentrate on his own material as an artist by performing regularly and producing his own album for release in the near future.
